摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold clamping device, in which inertia moment of a servomotor giving driving force of mold opening and closing and mold clamping or the like is favorably made small and load necessary at the time of starting and finishing its rotation and driving thereof is made small and thereby a molding cycle is effectively shortened. SOLUTION: A plurality of ball screw shafts 30 are arranged between a movable platen 14 and a stationary platen 12 so as to be extended in parallel with the moving direction of the movable platen 14 and also supported turnably around a center shaft and unmovably in the direction of the center shaft. On one hand, ball screw nuts 54 stuck to the movable platen 14 are screwed for the respective bolts. Furthermore, a plurality of servomotors 28 sandwich the movable platen 14 between these for the end part on the side opposite to the supporting side of the stationary platen 12 of a plurality of ball screw shafts 30 and are positioned on the side opposite to the side, on which the stationary platen 12 is positioned, and are stationarily arranged. The mold clamping device is constituted of directly connecting the rotors of a plurality of servomotors 28 in an integrally rotatable state.
