PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a recording paper roll from being set in the reverse direction or set to be shifted in the cross direction. SOLUTION: A bearing part 33 of a female holder 15 and a male holder 16 has a substantially oval section, and is inclined according to the inclination of slits 57a, 58a of a roll.support frame 55. The recording paper roll 10 is set to be properly directed in a magazine main body 3 when the bearing part 33 and the slits 57a, 58a are fitted with the matched inclination. The inner wall of the side of the magazine main body 3 is fitted with a butting member 70 and an elastic member 71 which respectively abut on the end faces of the female holder 15 and the male holder 16 to position the holders in the cross direction. When a paper holder 13 is not suitably fitted to the recording paper roll 10, the paper holder 13 is pushed into the recording paper roll 10 by pressing the elastic member 71.
