PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out, align, and accumulate workpieces in one cycle speedily at a high speed during carrying-out of the workpieces. SOLUTION: Workpieces W machined by a plate material finishing machine are carried out by a work conveying device, and the workpieces W during conveyance are sucked or grabbed based on a signal detected by a workpiece detector while an sucking device 107 or a clamp device of an unloader 87 is moved at the same speed and in the same direction as the workpieces W during the conveyance. The workpieces W on the unloader 87 are moved and positioned on a substantially horizontal surface, orthogonally to the workpiece conveying direction during carrying-out of them to a workpiece accumulating means 59, and carried out, aligned, and accumulated to a predetermined position of the workpiece accumulating means 59 in a short time cycle and at a high speed. Workpieces W that are especially continuously machined with plate material at a high speed and sequentially conveyed are sorted, aligned, and accumulated at a high speed.
