PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the possibility of damaging a lock device and a hydraulic cylinder by actuation of a tread changing hydraulic cylinder when the lock device is put in a lock state by constituting so as to simultaneously perform lock state switching operation of the lock device and extending-contracting operation of the hydraulic cylinder for changing a tread in a vehicle for constituting a conventional tread changing device. SOLUTION: A lock device capable of holding a tread constant is arranged on a rotation stopping shaft 1 of a sliding side axle case 13. The lock device is composed of detent grooves 1a formed in a plurality on the rotation stopping shaft 1 and a hydraulically driven lock pin 3 fittable to the detent grooves 1a. Pressure oil is not supplied to a tread expanding-contracting hydraulic cylinder 32 when the lock device is put in a lock state. The pressure oil is supplied when the lock device is put in a lock releasing state.
