A barrier comprises a plastics, metal or wooden board 1 having slots 11 releasably receiving resilient plastics members 2 which have apertures 23 for receiving the ends of tubular legs 3, which are held in spaced relationship by coated wire or reinforced plastics members 5 engaging holes 42 in collars 4 which are slid over legs 3 until they reach an abutment (not shown). The tubular legs may be closed at the bottom by members similar to collars 4 but having a blind hole 41 and filled with sand. In a modification the attachment members 2 are secured in apertures in the board and the tops of the holes therein are closed, and the legs do not have a stepped end portion. |
