FISHING BAIT AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce fishing bait adjusted optionally in a sedimentation velocity and a disintegration time required depending on fish species to be gathered and fishing surroundings, and capable of being easily selected and used by a user according to fish species to be gathered and fishing surroundings. SOLUTION: A molded product is formed by the pressure forming of a mixture consisting of 5-80 wt.% of a bait material liked by fish, 10-80 wt.% of bentonite and 0.1-50 wt.% of a thickener under an applied pressure of 10-2,000 kgf/cm2 to impart a fixed form. The sedimentation velocity in water and the disintegration time required of the molded product are set being 0.001-1.5 m/s and 3 sec to 24 hr, respectively.
