PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide more economical and more reliable MR device and MR method. SOLUTION: This MR device includes a means for limiting and/or visualizing a medical instrument 2 inserted into a subject 1 to be inspected. For constituting such a device by a more economical and more reliable method, a magnet device 3 is arranged in the medical instrument 2, and the magnet device can control units 4, 5 as a means so as to specifically change information on a position of the magnet device 3 in an MR data set. This invention relates to a corresponding MR method.
