PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a underwear feeling no excessively hot stuffiness, and preferably wearable even under the cold environmental conditions. SOLUTION: This underwear has the following structure: a high-thermal insulating portion having a thermal insulation rate higher than those of any other portions is provided on the back side of the underwear, wherein the high thermal insulating portion is formed at a part or the whole of the portion along a first line ranging from the seventh cervical vertebrae along the median line of the back to the coccyx, or at the portion surrounded by a second line ranging from the twelfth thoracic vertebrae to the acromion including the right and left scapulas, and a third line ranging from the seventh cervical vertebrae to the right and left acromions, the thermal insulation rate of the high-thermal insulating portion is made to be 1.3 to 11 times, the width of one portion of the high-thermal insulating portion is >=2 cm, and the gross area thereof is made to be <=2/3 based on that of the backside portion. The above-mentioned high thermal insulating portion is formed so that a patch is fixedly sewn, a material fabric and knitting density to be used are made different from those for other portions, and/or a thermal insulating material is welded thereto. |
