A device for joining mitred frame members 1 comprises an angle piece containing an opening 8 and a slot 12 extending from the opening to the apex of the piece, and a member 9 located in the opening and containing a grub screw 11. Arms 3 of the angle piece are inserted in channels 2 of the frame members and openings 8 aligned with openings 7 in the frame member. Member 9 is located in openings 7, 8 and grub screw 11 screwed outwardly into a depression in arm 3 by a screwdriver inserted through hole 13, so that the frame members are forced together. In Fig. 5 (not shown) frame members 1 have an open channel cross-section and members 9 have plates 18. |
