<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plum wine which is low in calories and useful as an improved health food. SOLUTION: This plum wine prepared by using a Monomordica grosvenori (the fruit of a plant belonging to the family Cucurbitaceae, produced in Guilin district in Guangxi province, Chinese) extract instead of sucrose to adjust the sweetness of the plum wine. The produced plum wine has a low calorie and further has the excellent scavenger effect (an action for removing active oxygen causing aging and degenerative diseases) in addition to the original health effect of the plum wine.</p> |
