PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the sizes of an outdoor unit and a controller and to improve the compression efficiency of a compressor. SOLUTION: A refrigerant circuit is constituted between an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. The air conditioner regulates an indoor temperature by controlling the flow of the refrigerant of the circuit. The conditioner comprises a fan 12, an outdoor heat exchanger 2, and a mechanical equipment. The fan 12 is disposed in the outdoor unit. The exchanger 2 is disposed at its center at the rear side of the outdoor unit, and projected at both right and left sides to the front surface side, and formed in a U shape as seen in plane surrounding the fan 2. The equipment has a control means of the part of the circuit and the circuit. The equipment is disposed at any one of the right and left sides of the exchanger. |
