PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun visor for surely preventing injury caused by collision by absorbing shock generating when the head of a driver collides with the sun visor having simple structure, easily obtaining a fixing state with no backlash, easily setting a separation condition of the sun visor from a supporting member to a collision load, and reusing the sun visor supporting member separated once. SOLUTION: When a load facing in the front direction of a car is applied to the sun visor, an elastic engaging part is pressed and gets over the car front side edge of an engaging hole formed in a base member to release the engaging state. A slide member is so constituted to slide the base member here by in the car front direction, that the engagement of the base member with the slide member is released to separate them.
