FERMENTATION METHOD FOR PRODUCING L-AMINO ACID USING CORYNEBACTERIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fermentation method for producing an L-amino acid, especially L-threonine, by using a Corynebacterium having an attenuated glyA gene. SOLUTION: This method for producing the L-amino acid comprises conducting the following processes: (a) culturing a Corynebacterium having an at least attenuated glyA gene and producing a desired L-amino acid; (b) increasing the desired product in a culturing medium or in the cell of the bacterium; (c) isolating the L-amino acid.
