PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for inhibiting the propagation of mold in a gel-like deodorant which is formed by dispersing an adsorbent in gel. SOLUTION: The deodorant which is formed by dispersing an adsorbent in gel, wherein a deodorant composition comprises adding one or two or more compounds selected from silver-based, magnesium-based, and formaldehyde-based fungicides, 2-chloracetamide, and 1,2-benzothiazolone as a fungicide.
