PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase joining strength on even a thin projecting wall by integrally forming the thin projecting wall by chipping a metal body. SOLUTION: In this method, at least of a chipping process in which a chipping tool 30 is abutted on one end face 14 at a position in the vicinity from one surface 10b side of a metal body 10 on one end face of the metal body 10 having plasticity, the chipping tool 30 is moved in the other end face 15 direction and a standing piece 16 is formed by thinly chipping the one surface 10b of the metal body 10 and a molding process for molding the standing piece 16 into a prescribed shape by pinching the standing piece 16 from both surfaces are provided and a thin projecting wall 11 is integrally formed on the metal body 10.
