PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a highly accurate face deflection adjustment by stably pushing a chip 5 out to a tool tip side, in a face milling cutter capable of adjusting deflection of a face cutting edge 12 by pushing the chip 5 mounted on a tool main body 1 by being prossed by a clamp member to the tool tip side by an adjusting mechanism. SOLUTION: On a recessed part 3 formed on the tool main body 1 rotated around an axis line O, the chip 5 provided with the face cutting edge 12 is attachably/detachably mounted by a wedge 6. The tool main body 1 is provided with an adjusting mechanism for adjusting deflection of the face cutting edge 12. On a seating surface 5B of the chip 5 and a mounting seat surface 4A on the recessed part 3 side, each of engagement parts 15, 9 engageable in a direction crossed with a pressing direction by the wedge 6 and a pressing direction by the adjusting mechanism is formed so as to be extended in the axis line O direction.
