PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fish scale-removing apparatus not causing decoloration of Sebastes matsubarae. SOLUTION: In the fish scale-removing apparatus 1 having conveying mechanisms 31, 40-1 to 40-4 and a scale-removing mechanism 20, the mechanism 20 is provided at plural locations with processing brushes 51 to 54 rotating at a high speed for reliably catching, setting up and tearing off scales while continuously imparting fine impacts to the surface of a fish body, the brushes are formed by radially supporting fine filaments made of nylon on a rotation axis, and water is supplied to the brushes to impart apparent rigidity to the filaments and tear off scales.
