<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a getting-on/off gateway device for a station allowing easy getting on/off of passengers during initial operation of door closing when doors in getting-on/off gateways of a vehicle and a platform close. SOLUTION: This gateway device is provided with partition walls 7 continuously erected on an edge part of the platform 6 along a traveling path 5 of each arriving and departing vehicle 1; the getting-on/off sliding doors 11 opening and closing the getting-on/off gateway 9 corresponding to each entrance 3 of the stopped vehicle 1; and a controller closing the getting-on/off sliding doors 11 through a door closing command for the entrance sliding doors 4 of the vehicle 1 before closing the entrance sliding doors 4. Thereby, before the closing getting-on/off sliding doors 11 reach entrance 3 edge parts of the vehicle 1, the entrance doors 4 of the vehicle 1 don't start to close to allow easy getting of the passenger on the vehicle 1. Accordingly, a passenger's getting-on time required can be reduced to reduce a time to vehicle 1 departure.</p> |
