METHOD OF PRODUCING COMPOSITE NONWOVEN FABRIC, AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a simple and efficient production of composite nonwoven fabric of a nonwoven fabric and an elastomer, having large stretchability in one direction and having rigidity in the other direction. SOLUTION: A dice 3 that is connected via a feeding pipe 2 to an extruder 1 is arranged above a conveying belt 11 for conveying web 7 in one direction. A nozzle slit plate 4 is mounted so that it may be reciprocated in the transverse direction of the web 7 and a nozzle is formed on the nozzle slit plate 4. The web 7 comprises a plurality of filaments arranged in parallel with the lengthwise direction of the web 7, and the molten elastomer 9 is extruded from the nozzle on the nozzle slit into strings, as the nozzle slit plate 4 is reciprocated whereby the elastomer 10 extending in the direction crossing the array direction of the filament of the web 7 is laminated on the web 7 to produce the objective composite nonwoven fabric 8.
