PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the difficulties of storing and transporting a damp treated premix place limitations on premix use and marketability. SOLUTION: This process of preparing the heat-vulcanizable filled silicone composition, comprising: charging an untreated filler and a high viscosity silicone polymer premix into a compounding apparatus; adding a treating agent and an additional silicone polymer to the premix; and compounding the premix, the treating agent and the additional silicone polymer to produce the heat- vulcanizable silicone composition.
