PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding/sealing unit which quickly switches over packaging body sizes without large scale change of equipment. SOLUTION: A molding/sealing unit 1 is provided with a fixed structure 3, two mold assembly bodies 5, 5' and flaps 21 for each molding. The bodies 5, 5' work on the tube 2 of a packaging material alternatively and periodically, and are provided with each set of jaws movable between an open position and a close position where the jaws 7 hold the tube 2 between each sealing member 13, 14. Each molding flap 21 has a half shell shape molding part 22 surrounding the tube 2 for determining the shape and volume of a packaging body. The closing movement of the flap 21 at the periphery of the tube 2 is controlled by a cam 30. The cam 30 is held by the flap 21 and works jointly with a roller 64 fixed on the structure 3 of the unit 1. |
