PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which waste water including high molecular weight organic substance is efficiently treated and a treatment cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: Raw waste water 10 is subjected to the treatment by a biological treating unit 12 of a front stage and mainly low molecular weight organic substance is decomposed by oxidation and removed. Treated water 14 discharged from the biological treating unit 12 is sent to an ozonating unit 16 of the succeeding stage, where the remained high molecular weight organic substance is made to low molecular weight substance by the oxidation force of ozone. Subsequently, in a biologically treating unit 20 of a poststage, the low molecular weight substance is brought into contact with a comprehensive microorganism carrying body 22 which carries a porous carrier and is thereby treated biologically. |
