PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording apparatus which controls the generation of color nonuniformity, etc., in printing without lowering throughput. SOLUTION: The start and end of reciprocating drive of a recording head 7 mounted on a carriage 4 is set up on a flashing position 15 side. Printing data sent from a host computer are converted into dot pattern data (bit map data) in a printing control means. When the dot pattern data for two passes are accumulated in a buffer register, the carriage 4 is controlled to implement printing by being reciprocated. |
