PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for a tapelike snap which can assuredly prevent the string of a cloth tape from being unfastened to deform the cloth tape and the diameter of a though hole from being enlarged to make the attaching state of a snap fastener unstable. SOLUTION: While a cloth tape C having through holes formed previously is arranged between a first die 7 having a forming chamber 7a with a configuration corresponding to a male or female fitting part and a second die 8 having a forming chamber 8a with a configuration corresponding to a head part, the forming chambers are filled with a synthetic resin D to manufacture a tapelike snap. A pin type protrusion 5 is penetrated through the cloth tape so that spaces between strings 6 are expanded without cutting the strings 6 by which the cloth tape is woven. Thus, a plurality of very small through holes 3 are formed on the cloth tape. The forming chamber of the die is filled with the synthetic resin from an injection port 10 formed one of the first die and the second die and the synthetic resin is injected to the forming chamber of the other die from the through hole 3.
