<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a missile homing system with an ability to estimate information on targets. SOLUTION: In this system, if a target is lost sight of during tracking, the location of the target is estimated by use of target-information from a depot plane or another missiles, so that the homing of a missile can be performed continuously. The target-information provided for the projectile itself and that provided by the depot plane or the other missiles are switched together in order to perform tracking continuously in the following cases: (1) missing of target-information, (2) a target capturing situation indicating index exceeds a threshold value, (3) the above index being analyzed based on fuzzy functions to evaluate and estimate so as to select switching conditions, (4) the above index input to a neural network exceeds a threshold value.</p> |
