PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual self-monitoring apparatus with which a user can observe his movement without any restrictions or distortion from any desired angle while he makes a movement (such as a golf swing or gestures during a lecture). SOLUTION: The apparatus includes one and more video cameras and a glasses-like video monitor unit. The video cameras can be placed or relocated so that they can focus on a user from any angle or many angles. By wearing the video monitor unit on the eyes, a user can observe his real movement in real time. Video signals from the video cameras are sent to the video monitor unit by means of a connection wire arranged so as not to physically obstruct the movement of the user or by radio transmission, and therefore, the user can move without any restrictions.
