PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peritoneum dialyzing liquid whose water removal performance can be adjusted without changing the amount of assimilated glucose into the body and a method for adjustment. SOLUTION: The peritoneum dialyzing liquid contains glucose as an osmotic pressure adjusting substance, sodium ions (Na+), calcium ions (Ca2+) and magnesium ions (Mg2+) as cations the concentration of each of which is within the range mentioned below and chloride ions (Cl-) and/or organic acid ions as anion and its water removing performance is adjusted by changing the types and concentration of organic acid while keeping the concentration of glucose at a constant level. glucose: 0.01 to 4.0 w/v% Na+: 100 to 160 mmol/L Ca2+: 0.5 to 2 mmol/L Mg2+: 0.25 to 1 mmol/L.
