PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a protein having an activity of dog IFN-γ in a large amount to bring it to be easily available and develop its use as a therapeutic agent for dogs, as a large number of tumors such as mammary gland tumor and the like, virus diseases such as parvovirus infectious disease, distemper infectious disease and the like and a large number of skin diseases are known in dogs and dog IFN-γ is considered to be especially effective as a therapeutic agent for those diseases. SOLUTION: When a useful protein is used as a medicinal agent, it is necessary to produce the protein in high purity. However, the useful protein such as cytokine and the like generally reduces its stability when it becomes highly pure. So, it is known to add a stabilizer, but it may induce immune reactions and the likes. This stabilized useful protein contains a surfactant and no other stabilizers. Cytokine is characterized in that it is a protein having activities of interferon-ω, interleukin 12 and 18, in addition especially interferon-γ and has pH 5-9. The therapeutic agents for dog diseases such as an antiviral therapeutic agent, a tumor-curing agent, an infections disease-curing agent, a skin disease-curing agent and the like contain a protein having the activity of the aforesaid stabilized dog interferon-γ. |
