PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker wherein the color of a liquid crystal display in an indicating unit is changed in accordance with the operating condition of the cooker and the visibility of a user is improved remarkably while the liquid crystal indicating device of the same is miniaturized. SOLUTION: A shielding plate 5, having a disc shape smaller than the size of the light emitting part of a light emitting diode(LED) 2 and formed of a resin, is provided between the LED 2 and a light diffusing sheet 4. The emission of light of the LED 2 is diffused and is illuminated on the liquid crystal display(LCD) 3 whereby the formation of an eyeball-shape shadow on the LCD 3 by the emitted light of the LED 2 can be restrained. |
