<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood club head the bulge radius of which is set optimum to dial with a large head with a volume of 250 ml (cc) and over. SOLUTION: In a metal wood club head with a hollow core, which has a head volume of 250 ml (cc) and over, its bulge radius (mm) is set within the range of±10% with the value obtained from the following formula as a center value. bulge radius = (-0.0237×ZG3+2.6721×ZG2-101.15ZG+1530)×(IY/0.157) In the above formula, ZG represents the depth of the center of gravity and IY the moment of inertia around Y-axis.</p> |
