AUTOMATIC MACHINE FOR SPINNING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic machine designed to be movable by the rotation of each pinion engaged with each rack laid on a floor and ensured to be movable in a properly engaged condition between the pinion and the rack even without the need of frequent rack cleaning works by operators. SOLUTION: In this automatic machine, a plurality of rails 4 and racks 5 are laid so as to extend to cross the longitudinal direction of a roving frame at right angles; a doffer 3 is equipped with a plurality of trucks 6 movable along the rails, a bearing 16 is fixed onto the underside of each of the trucks 6, and a drive shaft 17 is supported via the bearings 16 among the respective trucks 6 in such a condition as to be penetrated through the respective trucks 6; one of the trucks 6 is mounted with a motor, whose driving force is transmitted via a rotary transmission mechanism to the drive shaft 17; each of pinions 19 engaged with the corresponding rack 5 is fixed onto the drive shaft 17 rotatably as a unit at a position corresponding to every other truck 6; and each of the trucks 6 is mounted with a magnet 34 at a position facing on each of the racks 5 and on the side of advancing the doffer 3 in its operation relative to the corresponding pinion 19.
