PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding an injection molded body to suppress the leakage of a resin binder at a final filling portion and a mating portion of a molding material, and a method for molding a composite injection molded body excellent in joining strength. SOLUTION: In the injection molding method, the molding material 55 obtained by mixing the metal powder and the resin binder is injection-molded in a die by a metal powder injection molding method. A dummy cavity 1 is provided in at least one of course changing portions 831, 832, 833 in which the advancing direction of the molding material in a flow passage 800 of the molding material in the die or the final filling portion 84. In the composite injection molded body comprising first and second molded bodies integratedly joined with each other, at least one of the first and second molded bodies is molded by the molding method of the injection molded body.
