PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly check a crack from spreading and to prevent the crack from becoming a large-sized breakage when the crack is formed in an elastic film with a corner of an article brought into hitting against the film, and to keep the article held certainly in the film. SOLUTION: An elastic packaging film 1 is in a structure wherein reticulated bodies 3 for checking spread of crack are provided by integral molding either at one side or both sides of an elastic film main body 2. The elastic packaging film 1 is processed simply and continuously by heating and softening a thermoplastic elastic sheet and by pressing the elastic sheet with a rotating crimped roll.
