PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost with a simple structure, make children difficult to take out a fire extinguisher for a wrong purpose and yet easy for an adult to take it out, and avoid spoiling the appearance by embedding the case into the wall. SOLUTION: The case for fire extinguisher comprises a fire extinguisher case body 1 with an opening section 11 on the front surface through which a fire extinguisher can be taken in and out, and a door 10 to close the opening section 11, which is provided on the inner side of the edge of the opening of the opening section 11. The fire extinguisher case body 1 is provided with a race having front and back groove walls 6, 7 for the lower end of the door 10 to be inserted into lower edge of the opening of the opening 11. On the upper part of the door 10 a hole 12 big enough for an adult's arm to pass through is drilled. On the hole 12 there is installed a transparent plate 13 which can be safely remover by pounding. On the upper ends of the door 10 and the fire extinguisher case body 1, there are provided an engagement projection 15 and an engagement receiver 9 respectively to engage with each other.
