PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-row ball bearing for reducing width, and simplifying preload imparting work, while suppressing the vibration of a rotating shaft. SOLUTION: Two rows of balls 31 and 32 are arranged in positions slipped with each other in the radial direction of the bearing. In a first inner ring 4, the width of an inner peripheral part 42 on a shaft 1 side is reduced than that of an outer peripheral part 41 having a track surface; and in a second outer ring 7, the width of an outer peripheral side part 75 on a housing 2 side is reduced than that of an inner peripheral part 73 having the track surface. The part 41 of the inner ring 4 is arranged on the outer side than the part 73 of the outer ring 7 in the radial direction. Two inner rings 4 and 5 are pressed into a ring member 12 by providing a gap S for adjusting a preload, and the member 12 is fitted to the shaft 1.
