PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device with a simple structure in which delivered recording paper is back side paper and a recording surface and a non-recording surface can be easily distinguished. SOLUTION: For forming an image, sequentially, paper is fed from a recording paper tray 4, an image is created by a photoreceptor 1, the image is fixed by a fixing part 9, and the paper is discharged to a paper discharge tray 8. In this process, the recording paper P is temporarily stopped when a resist sensor 2 detects a tip of the recording paper P and positions it. When back side paper command is sent by an operation panel, a sealing part 6 provided under the resist sensor 2 operates to seal to show the back side paper.
