PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing porous body which is excellent in performance of decomposing stench component compared to so far and which can obtain a sufficient deodorizing effect. SOLUTION: The deodorizing porous body according to the present invention comprises mesoporous silica having pore and/or porous body comprising modified mesoporous silica and metalloporphyrin expressed as the following formula which is carried by the porous body.
