PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand grinder capable of being handled with one hand only with a little labour. SOLUTION: A grinding tool to carry out plane motion is installed on a support disc 2 which is movable with a motor on this hand grinder 1. The support disc 2 is installed on a shaft projected from a central housing main body 4, the housing main body 4 is extended in the axial direction above the support disc 2 and stores a motor and a gear unit in it. A main grip 6 and an auxiliary grip 8 are projected roughly sideways from the central housing main body 4 so as to operate the device 1 by both hands. The central housing main body 4 is furnished with a housing part 9 adjacent to the support disc 2 in the axial direction. This housing part 9 has a gripping surface 10 at least regionally projected sideways from the central housing main body 4 and for one hand operation. |
