PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an easy connecting operation at any part of a pipe, and realize detaching operation in a short time without falling off parts during the operation. SOLUTION: In this pipe connecting fitting 1, a pipe holding member 2 formed such that semi-circular arc pipe supporting parts 2a, 2b are integrally combined with each other to form an S shape, and a pipe holding member 3 is formed such that semi-circular arc pipe supporting parts 3a, 3b are integrally combined with each other to form an S shape. Center parts of this pair of the pipe holding members 2, 3 are connected by a screw 4, and an open/ close state of this pipe connecting fitting 1 is freely adjusted by rotating the pipe holding members 2, 3 in a state in which the screw 4 is loosened, whereby the pipe connecting fitting 1 can be easily attached at not only a center part of the pipe but also any part of the pipe. Further, at respective center parts of the pipe holding members 2, 3, fit parts 2c, 3c are provided for inhibiting the rotation of the pipe holding members 2, 3, respectively, by engaging the pipe holding members with each other in a state in which the pipe holding member 2 and the pipe holding member 3 are in contact with each other, whereby a state in which the pipe connecting fitting 1 is closed is maintained. Accordingly, time required for temporary attaching and fixing of the pipe connecting fitting 1 to the pipe can be reduced, and falling off of the parts during the operation is prevented by integral formation.
