PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give pseudo-solid effects to a rift pattern even when a base material surface is flat. SOLUTION: In a decorative material, in the base material of which a pattern layer is formed, the pattern of the pattern layer is formed by pseudo-solid rift pattern P obtained by overlapping a rift pattern Pa with a pseudo-solid pattern Pb, which is formed by partitioning a plane into respective polygons having arbitrary shapes and sizes and painting some of the respective polygons with dark color. Further, in the pseudo-solid pattern Pb, a high luster may well be given to polygons, which may well be seen convexedly visually, while a low lust may well be given to polygons, which may well be seen concavedly visually.
