PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated thermoplastic resin film excellent in blocking resistance, taking-up properties and processability and excellent in electromagnetic conversion characteristics when used as a support of a metal vapor deposition membrane type magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: A laminated thermoplastic resin film is constituted by laminating a thermoplastic resin layer A on one surface of a thermoplastic resin layer B and laminating a film layer C, which comprises a binder resin, inert particles, a surfactant and a siloxane copolymerized acrylic resin, on the other surface thereof. The thermoplastic resin layer A contains 0.001-5 weight % of inert particles with a means particle size of 100-2,000 nm and 0.001-10 weight % of ester wax, which may be partially saponified, consisting of not less than 8C aliphatic monocarboxylic acid and polyhydric alcohol and the water contact angle of the surface not being in contact with the layer B of the layer A is 70-90 deg..
