DISPLAY DEVICE AND VACUUM CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display of good visibility and a vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: This display device has a light emitting means 5 linked with a control means 4, a display means 6 disposed on the inclined surface of the outer wall 15 of the device body and a path 7 for guiding light from the light emitting means 5 to the display means 6. By inclining at least a part of the inner wall 8 of the path 7 in a direction nearly orthogonal with the inclined surface of the wall 15, an optical axis is varied in a direction different from the directivity of the means 5. Thus, a user can see the display means 6 easily not only from the same axis as the optical axis of the light emitting means 5 but also from directions except for the direction of the light axis.
