The invention concerns a method for modifying the colours of an image or of an image matrix on a computer monitor connected to an internetwork system which consists in: a) determining the transforming elements (step 10) to transform a first colour into a second colour and transmitting said elements to the internetwork system; b) determining the masks colorizing the image (step 12) to differentiate, on said image, different colour zones and transmitting said colorizing masks to the internetwork system; and, at request for colour modification, c) breaking down, pixel by pixel, the object to be colorized and the colorizing masks; and d) applying, to each object pixel, the corresponding colorizing mask and the transforming elements (steps 20, 22). |
