PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pulsating phenomenon of a movable side wall part due to an overload state and eliminate the need to replace the movable side wall part as a whole due to the wear of the inner surface of the side wall part is contact with a material to be crushed. SOLUTION: In a crushing device wherein one case and at least one crushing roll ratatably provided in the case are provided, and the case includes a side wall part extending along the crushing roll, and a drive mechanism which can move a first side wall part comprising at least a part of the side wall part between a first position, which is occupied by the first side wall part when it is in a normal functional state with respect to the crushing roll, and a second position, which is occupied by the first side wall part when it moves away from the crushing roll, a first joint is provided in the first side wall part, and the first joint, roll, and a second joint on the case in opposition to the roll are connected to each other by an adjust rod.
