This invention relates to an air-cleaning filter (1) having a cross-section shape corresponding to the cross-section shape of an airflow duct (7) in which the same shall be mounted, the filter being surrounded by a collar-like casing (8) in form of a thin, endless wall being open at opposite ends. The casing (8) is applied with an end portion (9) of the wall protruding a distance from one of the ends of the filter (1), at least one transverse slit being formed in the casing at a distance from a free edge (10) of the protruding wall portion (9), said slit delimiting a wall material portion (12) which, when needed, may be pressed in from the rest of the casing wall in order to form a grip for a finger or the like. |
