The invention relates to a tone safeguarding device, for improving the tone and preventing the sideways slipping on a floor of a musical instrument, such as a string or percussion instrument. Said device comprises a thin, solid and rigid plate (2), with a first recess, a plug (3) made from plastic, which fits in the first recess and has a second recess for retaining the spike tip (4) of the musical instrument and an anti-slip coating on the underside of the plate. |
