PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user's finger tip from touching an edge of an edge unit for treating a side burn end at the time of advance and retreat operation of the edge unit for treating a sideburn end. SOLUTION: An edge unit 6 for treating a sideburn end 6 and a slide knob 7 are mounted to a body case 1 along the vertical side thereof. When the slide knob 7 is pushed up, the unit 6 takes an application posture, and when the slide knob 7 is pushed down, the unit 6 takes a non-application posture. An outer surface of the slide knob 7 is defined into an upper surface part 7b and a lower surface part 7c via a part that is pushed up/down by a finger 7a. The upper surface part 7b is made to swell outward rather than the lower surface part 7c. An outer upper end 1a of the case 1 is made to swell outward rather than an outer grip 1b below the end 1a. The unit 6 and the upper surface part 7b of the knob 7 are positioned at the end 1a while a lower half of the part 7a and a lower surface part 7c are positioned at the grip part 1b.
