PURPOSE: A tape type electro luminescent lamp is provided to connect electrode terminal of AC power to the copper plate and silver thin film in a simple manner, while achieving uniform luminescence regardless of the length and cut position of the tape type lamp. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric substance(22) having BaTiO3 as a main ingredient is vacuum-deposited in lengthwise direction onto a copper plate(40), a phosphor(30) having MnS as a main ingredient is deposited, and a dielectric substance(20) is vacuum-deposited in lengthwise direction onto the resultant structure. Subsequently, an indium tin oxide film(12) as a transparent conductive layer, and PE film as an insulating layer are heat-pressed on the resultant structure in lengthwise direction to have a width larger than the width of the copper plate and the dielectric substances. Then, a silver thin film(42) functioning as an electrode terminal is coated at a portion of the indium tin oxide film. Subsequently, outer surface of the resultant structure is coated with a PVC film(50) serving as an air cut-off, and the PVC film at the copper plate side has an outer surface coated with an adhesive(62) for adhesion of a detachable sheet(60).
