The building set for an intermediate wall for a building comprises several wall components (1), which on both long sides have a first rabbet (14), abutting components being joinable to each other by a first profile (37) screwable to the base (13) of the first rabbet. Near to the two longitudinal edges on the upper side of each wall component a first clamping screw (22) with a vertical axis is fitted. The clamping screw clamps the wall component against a ceiling (31). The first rabbet in the fitted state is covered by a first U-profile (40), which reaches up to the ceiling and covers the clamping screw.
