PURPOSE: A system and a method of a realtime auction are provided to make clients receive information in realtime and enable the clients to transmit a bidding price although the clients who reserved participation in an auction are not connected via Internet to Internet auction site by wire. CONSTITUTION: A number of client terminals comprising a number of computer terminals(200) and a number of mobile telephone terminals(300) are connected via Internet and wireless data communication network which are an open network to an auction server(100). The computer terminals(200) performing data communication with a TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) on Internet access a web site URL(Uniform Resource Locator) of the auction server(100) and perform data reception and transmission to proceed an auction. The mobile telephone terminals(300) receive information of auction transmitted through a digital data transmission service like a SMS(Short Message Service) from the auction server(100) in realtime and transmit information of participation in the auction corresponding to the information of auction when the clients who reserved participation in the auction are not connected via Internet to the web site. The auction server(100) has an URL of a web site providing an auction service on Internet and transmits data necessary to progress of an auction and service providing to the computer terminals(200) with TCP/IP and to the mobile telephone terminals(300) through a digital data transmission service like a SMS.
